Listed below are links to all the notes we've taken in class up to this point in the school year. If you were absent, please feel free to print out a copy of the notes you missed. Be sure to hand copy them into you interactive notebook to get credit on our notebook check.
Reasons for Exploration - These notes covered the motives and impact of exploration and colonization of the New World. Click here for the blank page, which needs to be glued into your ISN.
Joint Stock Companies - Covers how a joint stock company was formed to aid in the colonization effort of the New World. The questions at the bottom need to completed in your ISN by the next class day.
Religious Freedom - Graphic organizer that shows how the Protestant church divided into many new denominations due to restrictions on religious freedom in Europe. These new denominations fled Europe for the New World in search of a place where they could worship freely.
Mercantilism - Powerpoint notes that show how England controlled trade in the English colonies of North America. Topics include the Navigation Acts and Triangular trade.
